Keane on the Ashes
Floridita, Soho
Leading Edge Sport pre Ashes party was a huge success with star turns from Graeme Swann, Phil Tufnell, Michael Vaughan, Steve Harmison and surprise guest Lee Westwood who entertained with tales from the Ryder Cup. Tom Chaplin and Keane were in superb form as they reeled off all of their hits before Graeme Swann and his band Dr Comfort and the Lurid Revelations took the party into the early hours. A significant amount was raised for Rwanda Aid - the perfect combination of a great party and raising money for a worthy cause.

What people said...
"Just a quick note to say thank you so much to Leading Edge Sport for the marvellous Keane on the Ashes party! It was a hugely exciting and fun night for me, which I'll remember for a long time and of course wish I could attend again! It was lovely to meet you; please pass on my thanks to both Tom and Jim Chaplin for organising such a fantastic night of entertainment while raising money for the very worthwhile cause of Tom's Dad's charity Rwanda-Aid.
I also loved the cricket part of the evening - Phil Tuffnell and Michael Vaughan are two of my favourite cricketers, plus I got to congratulate golfer Lee Westwood personally on his recent success! I'll be glued to the Ashes...
I didn't take any photos on the night, as I know my memories will far better capture the spirit of that amazing night in Soho..."
"Thank you so much for organising such a brilliant evening on Thursday at Floridita. We all had a wonderful time and my clients were amazed at how close they were to the guys on stage, and to be able to chat casually with people like Michael, Lee and Hoggy at the bar afterwards. I’ve received lots of “thank yous”, and wanted to pass on the excellent feedback.
You also did us the biggest favour by getting us a table so close to the action – that was so kind of you and really appreciated. I hope we contributed well in the auctions too!!
Please do keep us informed of other events – Thursday worked so well and if you are doing it again, we’ll be first on the list!
All the best and many thanks for a wonderful event."
"Well done to all of you for organising one of the best, no, the best night!
Over the years we have done a considerable amount of hospitality and last night was the best!!
An enormous amount of effort, coupled with great imagination, you all deserve hearty congratulations!
Keep us posted on all future events.
All the best."
